A member on Neogaf, ‘ntkrnl’, a supposed industry insider has started posting rumors about upcoming games for the Xbox One. In this, he reveals that 343 has been working on Halo 2 Anniversary for a Nov 11 release and has pushed the release for Halo 5 back to 2015. The Halo 2 Anniversary he mentions would include access to the Halo 5 beta and a Halo real time show, as well as having multiplayer and an alternate ending.

He also mentions that Saber and Certain Affinity have been contracted to assist in the development, so I would expect to see a toggle for graphics similar to what we saw in CE Anniversary. Keep in mind this isn’t 100% officially confirmed yet, but I think many Halo fans would be ecstatic to hear that this turns out to be true.

UPDATE: The leaker has now posted that there will be two versions of H2A releasing.

Collectors Edition with the Beta access, the Halo series (not the Blomkamp one)

War Collection with the above, as well as ports of Halo 3 & 4 for XB1.

He has also stated that the beta for Halo 5 would start in December.
