The weekend of July 13-14 will go down in history as one of the most successful charity events Rectify has ever hosted. Going into the weekend we set a goal to raise $2,000 for the kids through Extra Life and we exceeded those goals big time going $1,355 over that. In total the Rectify Twitch Stream Team has raised $3,355 in 36 hours for Extra Life. That’s the most we raised in one run ever here at ZZG236.

Our first ever charity event was in November of 2016 and we only raised $1,000 in 24 hours since then we’ve hosted multiple charity events, but nothing compares to what we did in this one. One of the goals we have here at Rectify is to show that video games can have a positive impact in this world and we feel we did that.

We would like to first off thank all of our passionate viewers and donators who made this all happen. You can view the page to see all the donations here . Thanks for creating great memories for our streamers and everyone involved. We loved doing all the challenges like this one below:

We will have more charity events coming in the future involving our Mixer and Twitch team again. We can’t wait for what’s to come.

Tyler has a passion for video games and started ZZG236 in 2013, where the goal was to bring players together. Over the years, ZZG236 has grown into a reliable media outlet for news, reviews, opinions, esports, and more.
